Dan also looks further at Victor Oladipo’s decision to sit out the NBA restart.  (22:17-44:31) – Dan continues his examination of the Victor Oladipo decision and discusses his frustration with the way it all was handled.      (44:32-52:39) –  Hour one ends with Dan interviewing the all-time leader in wins at Indiana Grand, jockey DeShawn Parker and getting his thoughts on what a day of races is like, what’s the most races he’s won in a single day,  and what he hopes to do on today’s card.   (52:40-1:12:19) – The talented Racing Rachel of Indiana Grand visits the show to give us her top picks for a loaded day of racing including her selections for the Indiana Derby which this year is a qualifying points race for the Kentucky Derby due to the COVID-19 pandemic.    (1:12:10-1:24:15) –An ongoing segment on The Dan Dakich Show celebrates workers at Eskenazi Health, some of the men and women on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19. Today, we are joined by Stephanie Collins, who is a respiratory therapist in the intensive care unit, emergency room and the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). (1:24:16-1:38:16) – The second hour on a Wednesday ends with a rundown from track announcer Bill Downes who is also responsible for setting the morning lines each day. Bill explains that process to us and gives us some of his picks for the day.   (1:38:17-1:59:57) – The legendary Dick Vitale visits the show to continue his mission of bringing the Indiana-Kentucky basketball series back. Plus, a look at the current state of NCAA violations against some power five conference schools while sharing his opinion on players being penalized for actions of previous coaches.    (1:59:58-2:14:40) – Dan continues the conversation he had with Dick Vitale last segment by taking a look at what colleges may do for scheduling in the future in both football and basketball. (2:14:41-2:23:05) – The show ends on HUMP DAY with Dan reading the Indiana Grand Race of the Day results. Later, Dan reminds listeners to come visits fabulous Indiana Grand Racing and Casino, where he is broadcasting the show today, and participate in his annual golf outing which is coming up this Monday, July 13th at Golf Club of Indiana.
