(00:00-23:01) – Thursday’s show opens with Dan reminding listeners that there is still time to sign up for the 9th Annual Tom Dakich Memorial Golf Outing which takes places this coming Monday, July 13th.  Dan also shares his thoughts on the attempts by different sport leagues to return, and what it all means for college sports in the fall.           (23:02-39:12) – Listeners on Twitter and YouTube continue to complain to Dan about his thoughts on Ryan Grigson. Later, Dan talks for a bit on the COVID-19 pandemic and recent spike in cases. (39:13-45:10) – We close out hour two with Dan again asking for real discussions and real conversations that are actually meaningful to be had.  (45:11-1:06:30) – The main man Seth Greenberg of ESPN drops in to update us on the likelihood of college sports coming back successfully this fall. Plus, he shares some thoughts on the TBT games he’s calling today.     (1:06:31-1:20:24) –An ongoing segment on The Dan Dakich Show celebrates workers at Eskenazi Health, some of the men and women on the front lines in the fight against Covid-19. Today, we are joined by Darwin Shurig, who currently runs his own executive search firm that specializes in mid-level to executive level opportunities for quality Engineering & Marketing talent in the medical industries.  Darwin was a full-time respiratory therapist from 1994 thru 2004 before his career led to leadership positions in sales for medical device companies from 2004 to 2015. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Darwin wanted to apply his RT skills again and started looking for a place where he could return to work and Eskenazi Health offered him a 10-week contract working two 12-hour shifts per week.  (1:20:25-1:32:03) – The second hour ends with Dan taking a look at the reports that masks may become mandatory at pro sporting events if fans are allowed entry. Dan and show producer Jimmy Cook share what they would do if that is the case.   (1:32:04-1:54:45) – Our guy Fran Fraschilla of ESPN stops by to preview the top story lines in TBT aka The Basketball Tournament and to examine the chances of college sports taking place in the fall.  (1:54:46-2:14:10) – The legend Mike Wells of ESPN weighs in on Victor Oladipo’s decision to sit out the NBA’s restart in the bubble and if it’s a worse look for Vic or for the Indiana Pacers. (2:14:10-2:17:06) – Thursday’s show ends with Dan reading the Indiana Grand Race of the Day results. Later, Dan and Jimmy are on the edge of their seats for the bets they made.
