What does CPA stand for?

CPA refers to "cost per acquisition" or "cost per action", which is a way of saying the total cost to the advertiser for each user who performs an action. In the case of online advertisers, this would be the number of users who view an ad and then click it, or take other action such as calling a number, entering an offer ode, entering their email address, or another input or action the advertisement is hoping to gain.
